Zen

Mixed media abstract composition of spray paint, coloured glass and stone wall tiles on a box canvas frame of hanging vines representing the strands of the lives of others who we encounter throughout our lives. The small shaped glass are symbolic Japanese characters,  the three small stone squares represent the steps taken to achieve internal happiness.  The circular object is the mind of the meditating person bubbling full of various thoughts on the outer side, but as the process of meditation continues these thoughts are reduced until a centre of calmness is achieved in the mind of the meditationist.
